The 2022 Mazda MX-30 EV represents our very first all electric vehicle to be introduced in the Canadian market. The MX- 30 EV marks the start of our electrification path and is thoughtfully designed with its environmental footprint in mind, while fully embodying the spirit of a rewarding drive that is the hallmark of Mazdas that have come before it. At Mazda, we continuously seek ways to inspire people through the value found in our cars. ★ Plan is available with the purchase or lease of a new 2022 MX-30 EV from an authorized EV Mazda dealer in Canada. Plan has an estimated value of $500 (based on the average estimated parts and labour pricing at Mazda authorized EV dealers as of September 2021) and covers two (2) factory recommended scheduled maintenance at 1-year//16,000 km (whichever occurs first) and 2-years/32,000 km (whichever occurs first) intervals based on normal driving conditions as outlined in the Owner’s manual. Coverage begins on the earliest of the date the vehicle is delivered to the first retail purchaser, is leased, or is placed into service by Mazda or an authorized Mazda Dealer in Canada for a business use. Plan does not include repair or maintenance of parts that experience wear and tear and other repairs that are not identified by the Owner’s manual. All services must be claimed within the two (2) year/32,000km period. After this time, the services will be forfeited and no claims can be submitted for any outstanding services. No cash value. DISTINCTIVE DESIGN

The distinctive design concept pushes the boundaries of Kodo design even further. The design team started with a blank canvas then began to intricately weave back Kodo design elements, resulting in a vehicle with a sense of an exterior that is beautiful and strong in its simplicity yet feels approachable and welcoming. The freestyle doors offer an entirely new way of enjoying the car. The intention is not just for ease of access but for using the MX-30 EV as a base. Something that connects users with fond experiences.

WELL-CRAFTED INTERIOR

For the second key value, the MX-30’s EV interior uses fine craftmanship and a selection of sustainably sourced materials to create a sense of mindfulness and peace.

Sustainable Materials

The cabin deploys elements crafted from a selection of natural and sustainably sourced materials that create a comfortable ambience, including the use of fibers made from cork and recycled plastic bottles. An optional upholstery is also available that represents a high-quality alternative to leather.

Cork Accents

With respect to the cork accents, these can be found on the console tray (GS & GT) and door grips (GT) which creates a uniquely Mazda look by bringing together style, function and Mazda’s heritage. This unique application of cork has been processed to have a warm look, to add a welcoming organic feel to the interior, and to make the most of its natural cushioning properties.

Everything about the MX-30 EV, from styling that creates a sense of familiarity to the open-feeling cabin that sets the mind free, is uncompromisingly designed around its user.

DRIVING EXPERIENCE

Even with an all-electric vehicle, Mazda has stayed true to the “Jinbai-Ittai” concept, and provided customers with a car that does not sacrifice driving pleasure. The Mazda MX-30 EV focuses on realizing the aspects of Jinba-Ittai that are only possible with an electric vehicle. Enhancements such as Electric G-Vectoring Control Plus (e-GVC Plus) technology, or developing our own unique motor pedal along with new technologies, ensures a seamless vehicle motion in all directions and intuitively harmonizes with its operator.
