Automotive Detailer

Looking for an exciting opportunity with Extended Benefits? At Murray Mazda we are seeking an energetic, self-motivating and detail oriented individual to be part of our growing service team.

We're looking for someone with an eye for detail. Your high standards will impress our customers as you wash and vacuum our customer's vehicle after their service. You will also be responsible for completing detailing services for each new Mazda and used vehicles inventory.
You will be detailing the exterior and interior of every sold vehicle, using a variety of cleaning equipment such as a steam cleaner, a polish machine, a hand-held spray gun, sanitizing treatments and pressure washer.
Duties will also include organizing the dealership new and used lot, moving customer vehicles and shuttling customers - so a driver’s license is required. Please provide a driver abstract.

Service Advisor

We are looking for a results-focused Automotive Service Advisor with great organizational skills for our busy shop in Chilliwack, BC. The ideal candidate will have experience as a Service Advisor and is energetic and self motivated with a positive attitude and genuine concern for customer and employee satisfaction. We are an accomplished organization with customer service, integrity and respect as the foundation of our business, and offer a friendly, fast-paced work environment with a competitive pay plan and benefits available for the right candidate.

Job Description:

  • Booking service appointment(s) as necessary
  • Complete walk around with customer, recording km’s, shuttle, wait and pickup information
  • Clear communication of customer concerns and maintenance requests on service order
  • Preparing/providing service and product estimates
  • Determine and record as customer pay, warranty, internal, aftermarket warranty, insurance, confirming coverage and get appropriate authorizations
  • Reviewing needed maintenance or repairs, costs and time constraints with customers and staff
  • Conduct requests for authorization calls/texts/emails with customers with prepared estimates for technician requests
  • Finalizing repair orders and sales (invoicing and cashiering daily)
  • Advising customers on vehicle maintenance schedules
  • Ordering parts and/or sublet services as required to satisfy customer requirements
  • Ensuring top-level customer service with professionalism and responsiveness at all times

Basic Requirements:

  • Highly effective communicator, strong telephone skills, customer communication
  • Organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Superior problem-solving skills
  • Automotive service knowledge, mechanical aptitude a bonus

Service Advisor experience preferred but not required. The successful candidate with a positive attitude and customer-focused skill set will receive on the job and ongoing training. Automotive Sales Consultant

Previous Automotive Sales experience is not necessary, and your lack of experience is preferred as we offer a full training program and have a different culture than the average car dealership. You will be responsible for meeting and greeting clients, guiding test drives, and assisting our clients in their purchases while building your business and career.
