Mazda CX-70 PHEV GT
Mazda's new mid-size, two-row crossover, created to complement an active lifestyle, features sporty design elements, a captivating interior, generous cargo space and exhilarating electrified powertrains. The new 2025 CX-70 PHEV is designed for the needs of an active and engaged customer base. The natural, athletic posture bestowed by the large platform and aggressive appearance is further enhanced with thoroughly modern and sporty touches.
The CX-70 plug-in hybrid (PHEV) GT on the Large Architecture model features Mazda latest electrification technology that efficienctly controls a 2.5L inline 4-cylinder engine and a high output motor to provide driving performance that optimizes fuel economy and acceleration performance in response to the driver’s pedal operation. The high output power unit pairs with Mazda intelligent Drive Select’s (Mi-Drive’s) evolved “SPORT” mode to let the driver enjoy powerful acceleration that realizes quicker vehicle response to the accompaniment of a pleasing sound when pressing the accelerator pedal. The powertrain further evolves the balance between driving at will and excellent environmental performance when, for example, “EV” mode is selected to drive the CX-70 using electric motor power that runs on energy stored in the dedicated battery pack.
When running on the electric motor alone, the CX-70 is expected to travel approximately 42 kilometers (EPA testing assessed) on a full charge. On the other hand, the internal combustion engine can be used to reduce concerns about cruising range if the battery charge falls below a certain level on longer drives, such as a weekend trip for example.
The CX-70 PHEV GT includes, Bluetooth, wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, a panpramic moonroof, a 360° View Monitor, 21-inch alloy wheels, premium Nappa Leather-trimmed upholstery, 12-speaker Bose premium sound system, wireless phone charger (Qi), 8-way power passenger’s seat, and so much more.
All new vehicles are subject to an additional Mazda Administration Fee of $795, a $895 Murray Year-Round Comfort Bundle, and any applicable taxes.
